About Emergency Management (EM)
EmergencyManagement (EM) is a completely non-profit effort that has provided information to the emergency services enterprise since 1997 with
a focus mostly on maps and mapping issues, especially the US National Grid standard (thanks to the Public XY Mapping Project). Maps and mapping technologies are the tools
that drive the emergency services enterprise in every phase: preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery, but in general, receives little attention among it's practitioners (until it's too late).
EmergencyManagement (EM) is a platform for contributing authors and others to have voice in this Nation (USA) that is said to enjoy a wonderful freedom of speech and expression of ideas without fear of (further) retaliation.
We are: "A Nation Still Unprepared."
